Great automotive marketing isn't something new. Citroen understood early that engaging with their audience and fans could be done in a clever way.
In the 70's, Citroen put together a few fantastic marketing campaigns in the form of international raids which mobilised 2CV lovers.
One of them was the Paris Persepolis Paris 2CV raid in which near 500 Citroen 2CV took part and covered 13,500km.
This 15 minute video (unfortunately missing the end) is an excellent testimony to the 2CV's endurance and ruggedness but also the solidarity of Citroen 2CV drivers.
